The mountain hut just 40 minutes from Rovereto
Rifugio Monte Zugna is an alpine hut located in Trentino, in the municipality of Rovereto (province of Trento), sitting at an altitude of 1,616 meters on the slopes of the mountain of the same name.
Mount Zugna lies between the Vallagarina and Vallarsa valleys, south of the town of Rovereto. The area is well-known for its historical significance linked to World War I, as well as its geological and natural sites of interest.
Since 2024, it has been passionately managed by Thomas Simoncelli who, together with his staff, offers family-style hospitality rooted in authentic Trentino tradition.

The hut can be reached directly by car. For outdoor enthusiasts, it can also be reached by bicycle or on foot along the main road or via numerous hiking trails.
